So this year for good ole' Pioneer Day, Shad ran the Deseret News 10k with our good friend John Gifford (no relation). John's wife Jessica and I didn't want to wake up early enough to watch the guys cross the finish line because the race started at 6AM. So we just met up with them after to congratulate them, and to watch the parade downtown in SLC. I've never been, and it was a blast!

John and Shad somehow managed to squeeze our little Honda into this tiny spot. Oh My! The things our husbands do when we are not around.
Way to Go Shad and John and the many others that ran the 10k. We are looking forward to the Half Marathon in September!
