July 4th

This year for the 4th of July we got together with our neighbors! We had a great time with fireworks, water balloons, barbecue, yummy treats, and lots more!

Shad's 5k

Shad has been training for the Spanish Fork half marathon in September. In June he ran his first race. It was the Eagle Mountain City 5k. He did fantastic! I am so proud of him. In addition to training he has also lost 29 lbs, He looks and feels amazing.

Shad's next race is on July 24th. He is running in the Pioneer day 10k in Salt Lake. I'll keep you posted on how he does! GO SHAD!!

Lake Powell

Lake Powell was a blast this year! We had so much fun wake boarding, water skiing, knee boarding, going down the zip line, hiking, boating, going on the wave runners, jumping on the trampoline, and eating GREAT food.

This is the kids by the houseboat called the Maui Sunset. It is probably one of the nicest house boats on the lake. As you can see it is huge! 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, washer and dryer, 3 decks, 3 fridges, and 2 kitchens. Sweet!

We had a blast. A big shout-out to the Clifford family for letting us on their Houseboat and inviting us, we had a great time!

Easter

We had a good Easter this Year, I know it is almost June, but I couldn't let these cute pics be left off the blog, so ENJOY!

Every year Shad's mom makes us a YUMMY Easter treat. This year she made cupcakes out of white chocolate and filled them with candies. Thanks Grandma DeeDee!

Canning Chicken!

So this spring My Mom and good friend Jessica taught me how to can chicken. I found an AWESOME deal on chicken at Macey's and went to work. Here is the finished product that Chandler is Showing off. I know it looks gross, but it really is quite tasty!!

Chandler's Birthday

Chandler turned 2 on February 27th. I can't believe my baby is 2!! Her are some pics from the big day! Shad and I made a snake cake, and I think it turned out quite nice, even if I do say so myself.

Chandler loved blowing out his candles. He liked it so much we let him blow them out 5-6 times!


He was mad when I took the cake away to open presents, so mad in fact he refused to open any presents at all, so Brooklyn opened all of them for him! What a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Needlessly to say we all laughed a lot at him screaming during opening presents!


Finally! He got to eat cake. As you can see, he finally calmed down enough to eat the cake!


Chandler was in desperate need of some new church clothes, so here he is in he B-day present! I think he looks totally adorable, and all grown up in his white shirt. Love you little Buddy and Happy Birthday!

Our New Nephew!

My sister had a baby on January 28th. They named him Boston Brady Clifford. He weighed
8 lbs and 12 oz. WOW! and was 21 inches long. Shad and I are a first time aunt and uncle, and we love it. This pic is of Brooklyn holding her first and only cousin!
Here is me holding him when he was only a day old. He even has RED hair! How cute!
